During a residency period at Bilbao Arte we spent time looking at the idea of boundaries and the physical way people are contained, protected and prohibited from moving. How the idea of physical and psychological boundaries can inhibit progression and create tensions between cultural groups both settled and nomadic. These studies leading up to and during our residency influenced a small series of digital images and a number of sculptural works.
